On
30th March 2011 the Industrial Pact held
the 16th meeting of its General Council at
the TecnoCampus Mataró-Maresme.
Intervention
by the mayor of Mataró, Mr.
Joan Antoni Baron
Those
present were welcomed to the event by Mr.
Joan Antoni Baron, the mayor of Mataró.
In
the course of the meeting, which was
chaired by Mr. Dídac Pestaña, president
of the General Council, Mr. Carles Ruiz,
president of the Executive Committee and
the four presidents of commissions,
information were presented on the
highlights of the Industrial Pact’s
activities.

Next
the vice-presidents of the General Council
were appointed:

Ms. Maria del Carmen Villarrazo,
representing the trade unions.

Mr. Jordi Roig, representing the employers’
associations.
Intervention
by Mr.
Juan Carlos Montiel, general manager of
Barcelona Regional
Mr.
Juan Carlos Montiel and Ms. Maria Buhigas,
of Barcelona Regional, presented the
conclusions and proposals in the study by
the Industrial Pact of service
infrastructure in the centres of business
activity of the Barcelona Metropolitan
Region.
Once
published, this study will be presented
publicly.
After
the event there was a tour of the
TecnoCampus Mataró-Maresme science and
innovation park..
